There is magic in simple things and recurrent moods.
A lighted lamp in the garden at night,
The pulsating hum of insects,
An endless starry sky,
The sweet feeling of solitude.
To light a lamp, in essence, is to perform magic,
Wresting compact space away from infinite cosmic darkness.
